Dancing Through the Hoops of Time

I’ve held silence in my hands

Voiced unheard songs to stands

I’ve allowed hope to spring from sorrow

And lead the darkness into tomorrow

I’ve spoken to the God of neon lights

Prayed to be taken to new heights

Found the prophet’s words on the walls

And followed the echoes through the halls

That encompasses the beast that is time

As I heard a whispering scream of the sublime

That taught me of the well of silence

And the alliance of the defiant and defiance

That broke the seal placed upon a people’s lips

Taking Father of the North’s hoops in grip

Spinning clockwise and counter clockwise

Fingers joined to the mind becoming wise
