Dancing Through The Rain

Many things made me who I am,

conflicting roads of life converging,

sunshine from darkness slowly emerging,

These trials made me who I am.

The hopeless void that once filled me,

the girl who feared reality,

caugh up in the tragedy,

The once hopeless girl is now free.

Through the hardships and scars I gained,

I discovered who I am,

I discovered where I stand,

I danced joyfully through the pouring rain.

Now my life is full of promise,

I am blessed beyond belief,

completely happy and without grief,

Now my future is full of promise.

I do not fall and stay down,

nothing gets in my path,

nothing gets in my path,

because I am someone who lives on.
