The Dandelion Whisperer

I came from a dandelion head

Blowing in the wind with all the others

Half would grow to flowers

The others to weeds

She spotted me mixed in with the weeds.

She took me,

specially precured.

She planted me,

watered me,

if I needed it

she would’ve stolen the sun.

I always thought I was a weed

but she insisted

“gorgeous”

“beautiful”

“potential filled”

She gave me her special formula

I was transformedand transduced.

When I graduated from her nursery

she told me:

I was to do big things,

Help people.

Teach.

Lead.

And with that

she left me to grow on my own.

I’m still growing,

but this time

I know I’m a flower

I know to grow

For her
