Dandelions
I have seen you grow.
I have seen the beautiful Yellow flowers you have created.Yellow like the Sun, Yellow and demanding for Every Other Livng Thing to orbit you.
I have seen your roots, Straight & Simple,
Disgusted by my nappy ones.
I have seen you take from the Green Masses of Grass, I have seen you make a yard unclean & Dare blame it on the Crab Grass.
The thick and nappy Roots From The Brain Cells of Alex Haley. I have seen you mock these Nappy Roots Daring to Force the Crab Grass into Submission on the Daily
Daring to Give us a name, new & yellow like your already pristine sun-like ones.
I have seen the tribal disgust as you remark how Toby should have been a good boy
A good Nigger
A good for Nothing Crab Grass, that poisioned your yellow filled yard.
I have seen the white seeds that blow and change the course of the history of that Yard, flowing in an undulating sea of puffy white, of which my Crab Grass self, will certainly never be.
I have Seen the Malicious Garden Snake sliver through this yard
I have heard You Yellow Dandelions Complain
About playing the race card.
I have seen Crab Grass fall into submission
Dreaming of having others to orbit them, If they were only Yellow enough.I have seen you smile with that poisonous white puff you sprayed to kill and contain the Crab Grass
Plucked from my Grass and Plagued for even Daring to Grow
Your Pristine Yard, Beautful in all its simplicity
Straight Roots Brutal to my Nappy ones
Straight Roots Just Angry at my Nappy ones
Straight Roots Just Jealous of my Nappy ones
Yellow Dandelions plaguing the Yard
I guess you forgot.
Crab Grass and Dandelions, are just weeds.
Soon to be plucked.
