Danger Zone
At night my worst fears come alive. As I lay in my bed, unable to find rest, I hear and see things I know are not so in the present. I see the past but even more scarily I see the future. I see things that are dreadful. I see things that are full of pain and sorrow. I see no hope in the future so all I ask is for help to change that. I need people to stand up and fight with me but they can’t if I don’t get up first. I have to stand up and be strong even though my worlds falling apart around me. I need to take the time to realize the benefits of not hiding in a shell but it’s hard. I need to find help soon. I see no point in hanging around if the future l be as I’ve seen. Oh, how I worry about then. What will we do? Who will we turn to?
