Dangers of Depression
Depression is dangerous.
Its that thin line between love and hate.
Its the halfway of the dead and the living.
It kills.
And provides life but I'm not sure if the life it provides is a life worth living.
A walking zombie is no more alive than the dead.
Its just learned to mimic the movements.
Depression is a replicate.
It's just learned to mimic the emotions.
But you know the second is never as good as the original, and the third is never as good as the second, and by the time you make it to the fourth you might as well give up, it's not a failure worth watching.
Depression makes you into a shell of what you used to be
A human body with no soul
That's gotta be a fate worse than death
Why? Why should I keep going if I've just become a robot of my former self?
Mechanical smile, wind it up.
Happy go lucky attitude, power it up
Live life with no sorrows, system overload.
I'm prepared to take on the world now.
A shell of my former self, I think I finally meet society's standards.
I am moldable, manageable, mangled
Sealed, packaged, labeled.
I am depressed.
Dose me up.
How many of your toxic remedies will you have me ingest?
Danger is depression.
But they're both unavoidable.
