The Dangers of Isolationism

I sit here wondering,

What did I do wrong?

Why is everyone ignoring me?

Jealousy, maybe.

They should know jealousy is burning, internal fire.

It would never go away.

But I still want to know,

What did I do wrong?

My friends have been so pronely,

Leaving me to be on my lonely,

Status

But I am just called on when they say,

“The enemy has attacked us”

I leave them to be,

Cause they love to act like they can’t see me.

What did I do wrong?

Tears rolling down my face,

Thinking of the chains I thought I could break.

I made this poem based on my emotions but also what many in the world go through now. There was a point in everyone's life when we felt isolated.
