Daniel

here's to the love of my life

he holds me in his arms when I am tired

and rubs my back when I am sick

he makes me laugh hard - harder than

anyone else ever could.

I long for the days when we simply

lay in the sheets

smiling into each other's eyes

his embrace is what I crave.

but I also live for our adventures

we explore and dance and set fires

and we watch the flames flutter and

sparks jump

like the butterflies in our bellies

when we first met.

I love you in your entirety

when you are strong

and when you are not

I love the way you run your hands

through my soft hair

and gently kiss my nose

and everyday I watch you laugh

and I think

everyday

I fall for you

just a little more

than yesterday
