Dare (Scholarship Slam)

When will they learn?

Lifeless

Selfish

Humans

Looking for convienice

When did mankind

Become so lazy?

Always self-absorbed

Never wanting anything

If it does not benefit

Themselves

Will it go on forever?

But there is hope

For the world if you

Step up and

Be the person

Who lives

To put smiles

On others faces

Be the one

To show up

When no one else does

Be the one

Who shows the world

The power of one.

One heart.

One mind.

One soul.

Working

Striving

To find happiness

Again.

To lift their friends up

To have no enemies

To reach out

To lend a hand

To mend a shattered world

Crying in desperation

For a change

Any change

Dare to believe.
