Finding every single thrill

When did this begin?

What hole am I trying to fill?

When will this end?

Doing things, I never liked

Skiing, hiking, sports, I hate them all

So why is it that I biked with you?

When did I fall?

I never was in control

But somehow, I’m losing it

This feeling I wish to annul

I don’t like this, not one bit

If I ever seemed desperate

Never more than now

I can’t accept it

I’m not going to allow

Head over heels

This is not okay

Stop focusing on how he makes you feel

And push him away

You’re difficult to love

You know that

So, stop trying to compute what you’re void of

You know he’ll leave you flat

But here I am

Playing along

Waiting to see you, with anxious hands

Going somewhere I don’t belong

Am I ready to let down the walls?

I’ve worked so hard to put myself in solitude

I can’t possibly be okay to fall

No, I changed my attitude

I’m no good at baseball

But here I am

At your beck and call

I don’t understand

My heart and safety are on the line

Ready to risk it all

Because here I stand, this time

A daredevil
