The Dark

Many moons have passed since I felt this way, the emptiness and despair in my soul is ever growing. Darkness is starting to welcome me ... Inviting me ... Including darkness in my life and in my body. Seeing this signal, I closed my eyes and, with a wave of the string, I called the hand that lives in me, releasing its grip. I relaxed as the stain returned, releasing the void I was trying to absorb. I slept in a pleasant, warm, comforting sleep. Knowing there's one who I can trust, They ignore the stain and see the truth.
