Dark

I am gripping to the sides of the walls that are closing in around me trying not to fall into that dark pit I just crawled out of. I see the light above but it moves away from me like a long cold tunnel. The darkness is trying to pull me in again. Trying to drag me back down to fight the demons I have once already conquered. I am slowly losing my grip my hands are becoming weak. Palms sweaty, I am sliding. Panic, begins to rise in my chest. Losing control my breaths become shallow my stomach begins to bubble with black hard hatred of my weakness. My body is fighting itself. The darkness is winning and the light seems to flee. I can’t hold on anymore… I let go. Falling, it seems like its taking forever for me to hit that piercing coldness called rock bottom. Boom. I feel it Crippling me with pain. I am consumed once again. The demons all waiting in a line patiently to have a stab at me whole existence. I can no longer see the light. The last thing I think to myself before I feel it all collapse around me is will I ever see the light again? Will I ever get the strength to climb back out of this hole?
