Dark
You saved me from this life of pain
You saved me from myself.
I cannot thank you love enough
introducing me to health.
I use to cry myself to sleep.
I use to be so numb
The things I lived through I cant believe
I was so young and dumb.
Now I think on my past
The blood sweat and tears
How much time I wasted
Oh so many years.
Now I lay in bed at night sober as can be
No needle to be seen
the one I love beside me.
You saved me from the evil
The one they call dark
Now I'm left with nothing
but a single mark.
