Dark Angel

My fingers thread the sky with fiery lace. With every breath air pulses from my lungs. Its wind screams in my ears. I am the storm. And now the rain – fat drops I fling to earth To heal and drown, alike. The frogs sing and The swallows dance to welcome life and death. I give them all my violent life, my gift And then dissolve, die growling from the sky.
