Dark Angel

Dark angel, dark angel, where are you now?

The light is showing through, I don't know how

The sorrows have left her down on the floor

The light is still glowing, I don't know what for

The darkness comes off me to smother the light

But I am so tired of fighting this fight

Dark angel, dark angel, where are you now?

I'm going down, it's hard not to bow

Bow to the voice inside of my head

The light is so bright, I should be dead

The monster inside me is falling apart

First goes the brain, then goes the heart

Dark angel, dark angel where are you now?

The demon is leaving, I don't know how

My beauty, my power, my emptiness too

It is all gone, what do I do?

The spirit has cleaned me with my soul

Without my power, I don't feel whole

Dark angel, dark angel, where are you now?

I'm on the ground, I'm on the ground

The sorrows have left me alone with my pain

I am not sane, I am not sane

I get off the floor, my power is strong

Now you can see that the light has done wrong

Living in darkness, playing in the light

A solar eclipse is a wonderful site

Pain and sorrows always show through

Nothing to say, nothing to do

Chokes by the words you've failed to say

What do I do when there's no other way

Now the dark angel is following me

The only creature to set him free
