Dark Bloom

Looking back,

when my days were the blackest black

The pain made sense

Why I ended left me room to begin again

It left me room to fall in love with myself

That's all I ever needed

The Truth,

I was never ready for you

I am still not

Maybe that day will come

Or maybe it never will

Tell me maybe you'll wait and see,

To watch me bloom
