DARK OF DAY, LIGHT OF NIGHT

Dark of Day Light of Night
by Mira Wilder
2014

Girls you better be safe
and get to your car
that guy you dated took things too far

You can feel him behind you,
closer and closer
eager to find you
closer and closer
your mind starts to race
quicken the pace
he won't leave a trace
closer and closer

You trust in God
a little too late
out on the street
your only bait
He'll take you any time he likes
Dark of day
light of night

chorus;
he's a stalker
out for a walk
out to get you
not who you thought
a stalker
not satisfied
with no,
he'll lie in wait
all night
and keep you paranoid!

He's obsessed

Might be your uncle
might live next door
might be a stranger
who's seen you before
can't call the police
he'll just get released
you can't call the priest
he's down on his knees...
Your trust in God's a little too late
out on the street your only bait
He'll take you anytime he likes
Dark of Day, night of light
