Dark Days
There is a small stinging on my wrist
A small line of red appears there
I don't think much of this
I've seen it many time before
I'm not the first one nor will I be the last
I do this for others although they think it's a selfish act
The pain it causes me is just to make up for the pain I have caused them
This small red line is starting to grow longer,
It's getting wider and I am growing weaker
Black dots are appearing in my eyesight
My hearing is fading; I hear a women scream...
As I turn to see her face.....
Everything just goes black in a second
I am finally free, I have left all of my pain behind
All of my friends and family can finally be happy
I will never be able to hurt them again.
