The Dark Figure
A person walked into my life when I was 14 years old and he stayed until I was 18 years old. When I was alone he would be the dark figure next to me. When people were around he would be inside of me. But when I was 14, he came to me and said:
"You're not going to like me, but I'm here to make you and your best friend suffer and you can't stop me. I'm not leaving any time soon. I will take your best friend to dark and awful places, and you will see her suffer. You will try to get away from me, but you know I will always be here. I'm the reason for why you and your best friend will cry and break down for so long. I'm the one who will make your best friend hate herself."
And trust me that is exactly what he did. He would always be walking next to me all high and mighty. He was the reason why I was sad all the time. He was the one who made me scared to see my best friend. But no one understood why he did his to my best friend and neither did I. I never thought I would see my best friend so weak...
But the day before he left, he said:
"I know I have caused you and your best friend so much pain in the last four years. But I'm here to tell you it's all over. You won't see me any time soon. I'm leaving... Goodbye."
And I haven't seen him since.
