A Dark Flame

A dark flame burns

In the heart

Of every being’s soul

It can blacken and corrupt

The brightest of souls

but

It can heal and purify

The most twisted

We choose

Which it does

We choose

To let it feed the hate

Or

To feed from the hate

Which do you choose
