Dark Heart

My heart breaks

It shatters like ice

Nothing is going to stop this heartache

A piece gone, a slice

There is nothing left for me

Will anyone just let me be

I drown in sorrows

I have nothing left for tomorrow

The darkness surrounds us

Almost dust

As we fall towards the unrelenting ground

We are forever bound

Nothing is seen

The dark is so ever mean

Even the most defining mark

In this vastness of dark
