Dark Images
As I wake up dark images shroud my mind
Like a storm engulfing the blue sky
It's the future I see and my mom in a black veil with tears of in her eyes
Could this be someone's death that I'm seeing from where I lay?
When they close the casket it is me that I see, clear as day
But there is something different about him
His body is frail
Like what years of cocaine abuse entails
He is beaten and bruised
Which gave me the clue
That I saw the death of the old me
Unlike him, I chose to finish school
