DARK KNIGHT

started tokin' for fun

now you toke to run

from your past

just a man

trying to get passed

life's lowest lanes

Superman

without Lois Lane

trying to change tracks

but ambition is lost

something you can't track

self doubt's personal war path

hope facing the facts

just another patient

patiently waiting for death's wrath

reoccurring themes

that keep you up at night

society run by two faces

and you've lost your Dark Knight

just reoccurring themes

that prolong your days

looking for a way out

a rat trapped in a maze
