Dark Night

In darkest night, sleep Nothing more happens Wrong. Plenty happens at night The moon is high and the stars greet it Along with the owl that soars Hoot, hoot, it goes And it swoops down below Cats stalk and prowl Someone is wearing a cowl No way to see her face Darkness is all you see in this side of the world No sun is there… So we all wait We wait and see when the sun comes back And in the midst of waiting… We fall asleep Dreaming up fantasies that only our minds can make realities

Hello again! I'm unsure if you were aware but for the contest you are only permitted one poem for the contest. I really did like you poem and I read the last one, which is right above this one in the list, and I was giggling at the comparrison of the names beside each other. I think the two poems would be great if you were to bring them together, just my own opinion. Play with the idea, see what you get.

Becca.
