Dark Pitted Hole

She feign to be somebody/ Oblivion to human eyes/Plundered by her self - conscience/ No one heard her cries/ Steeped with self- hatred/ Implacable to others/ Yet with a heart full of deference/ She is rebuked by her brothers/ Mortified by what she sees in the mirror/ Oblivious to her luminous soul/ She mustered up all her strength/ And felll into that dark pitted hole.
