Dark Promise

Greed is the core of all evil.

It burns with the molten fury of the middle of the sun.

It spreads through society, branding everyone.

It creeps on you,

Is suddenly at your door.

It stalks you,

Is at your feet.

It haunts you,

Is in your heart.

The more you search for perfection,

The more imperfections are apparent.

The more you seek power,

The more powerless you are to your greed.
