Dark Romantic Literature

Black dresses and veil covered faces

Haunted houses in a forgotten places

Rain and thunder creating the perfect scene

While the long lost words of Edgar Allen Poe echoes “A Dream within a Dream”

Unmarked grave stones and enraging souls

Mysterious folklores that for generations have been retold

Beautiful love letters that are always laced with death

Leaves you wondering why and forever holding your breath

All the longing poets hold it close to them like scripture

Long live the poetic elements, long live dark romantic literature
