Dark Stalker: RIP Trayvon Martin

Hear the thunder
Hear the rain
As it starts to pour again
In the night
The dreary  dark consumes the life of the light within
It becomes a hunt between the streets and the caverns that have no end
A voice, it quivers and soon it simmers into the twist and turns of the wind
As the thunder  clashes and the lighting flashes
The shadows creep out for revenge,
Hate in its heart from an unlawful start
A corruption that is not so easy to discard,

It comes equipped and it empties its guilt of disdain
as the projectile drifts from the clip,
The target unknown but targeted for the wrong
As it scurries in dark seeking the refuge of a place called home

Just a few minutes left to roam
Just a few days left to be home
Just a few seconds to dream of living long
Just in a moment it is all gone
As its life escapes through the last vibration of a wounded heart it spills all potential inquiries of what could go wrong

Innocent was not as it seems
Innocence is only in the light of dreams
But this innocent had no means of coming to an end
It fought like a warrior for the light within,

But the shadow could not bear coming to light
So it took a stand and with its hand turned off the switch and left us with this
Treacherous beginning to an end but more of a beginner in the end
Since the light could not harm for it is unarmed
And the voice of the harmed will be heard again
Through the hearts of those who will use words to avenge.
