The Dark Waves

His face tends to make me angry.

You get it, right?

That feeling when you look at someone and feel like you’ll die if you can’t hold them in your arms.

Then you see that special someone with someone else…

The sadness hits you in waves. Really, really, violent waves.

The kind of waves that will knock you off your surfboard and trap you under it for a while.

They say you either want to die or you want to kill someone.

For me it was both.

I didn’t do anything though.

And now his face just makes me angry.

It makes me relate everything to romance and hate everything romantic.

I have decided to just start hating everything.

It’s much easier that way.

What would have made this even easier than that is if he just let me hold him.

I would have taken much better care of him.

But he didn’t and now it’s just me and the anger and the sadness.

Alone.

I am currently a Sophmore in High School. I have a passion for writing, though can never quite write as fast as my brain thinks of ideas. Awhile ago I gave up on writing because I wasn't sure where I would get with it, but here I am again... Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my work. I appreciate it.
