Dark Wings

You once had wings as white as snow,

but now they are dark from all the things you've heard and know.

You were once able to soar the sky,

but now you can't even remeber how it felt to fly.

You constanly feel chained to this earth.

You've felt like a mistake since birth.

All you feel now if pain,

it's enough to drive someone completely insane.
