The dark writer

His writing

The ink on paper, so insulting

If your soul has nothing to do

don't chase this dream

or it will swallow you

why do such good writers die at their own hand

When the ink they spill

and the words they spell

bring such hope and such joy

are we just another toy

are we characters

does this mean anything

and the answer

may be 42

but Charles Burrowski

I will always love you

your dark mind

matched mine

your sorrow

touched by happiness

bringing laughter to my heart

you taught

you lived

and I won't fail

poetry's number, 42, guardian of many galaxies

teaches all of us

to just keep typing

writing

spilling our souls and letting us be judged without being touched

and that is the joy of poems

the pain

the pleasure

is nothing

but a dark dreamer

who learned the power of words

to become someone

that can be known as

The Dark Writer
