DARKEN LONELY ROAD
Darken Lonely Road /Dark Angel
Walking down the twisting road,
With so much on my mind ,
A burden of woe taken over me .
Upon this road,
Which I am strewn,
I shuffle on,
Through air filled gloom ,
My life had never been the same
Since Dark Angel made way in my life ,
His heart is cold as ice ,
Where are the passions they essayed ,
And where the tears they made to flow ?
Where the wild humorous they portrayed
For laughing is no more in this old darken world ,
Upon this face of mine you will find ,
Full of defeat,
Haunted eyes of another kind ,
No smile can reach what is within ,
The farther I get down that lonely road another part of my
Slips and goes along the way ,
The closer I am to facing him ,
My hopes and dreams are lost in the cold night ,
A wishful end I pray that will soon take place .
