Darkest Nights

I wish some people could see The way I am at night When all the dark thoughts surround me And make me put up a fight Just to stay alive For another day Because every night gets harder To keep these thoughts away. Nobody will ever see me For who I really am Because the reality of it is I will always be a sham. When nobody is looking The smile disappears, My mind falls into darkness, And brings along the fears.
