dArkness

In the darkness I heard a voice,

It wasn't screaming for help, it was asking for someone to join them.

I never understood why this was.

It wasn't until after her that i realized no one wants to be alone in the darkness

But i also realized that no one wants to leave the darkness.

We feed off of our darkest emotions, something only we know.

We become jealous of everyone else's happiness, drowning ourselves even more in the darkness.

What little do we know  that they feed off darkness as well.

Keeping little reserves, because everyone knows without darkness, there cannot be light.
