Darkness

The darkness begins to rise

I watch it peacefully

No matter how cloudy the skies

You are there for me

But much to my surprise

The darkness I do not see

You have occupied my eyes

And answered my plea

No more desperate cries

Tonight you set me free

The darkness dies

In steps of one two three

All those failed tries

Until now, now I am me.
