In The Darkness

Thank you,

For staying in the Darkness

When, even with Light,

I was too young too see,

That the puppet strings you did not hold.

The Master alone was me.

Thank you,

For the Wings,

Giving me the Wind alone to ride.

And covering the Sun,

So that the wax could firmly dry.

Thank you,

For the Flowers,

Now dead and brown with Age,

Pressed between the pages,

Where time may let them lay.

Thank you,

For the words,

That only Silence, can pronounce.

For the song that has no lyrics,

But a Melody recognizable in itself.

Thank you,

For your Patience.

Thank you,

For your Time.

Thank you,

For letting me realize,

You were always by my side.
