Darkness

The darkness reminds me of my heart
So much pain and agony built up inside
If you look deep into my eyes
You can see where the darkness lies

So dark, so cold
Like a basement in the winter
Maybe it would be warmer if the wind was thinner
This darkness is so deep within

Darkness like night is what i see in the day
I look outside my window at the children as they play
Laughing and smiling with so much joy
Why couldn't I be like that?
Instead darkness is what I convoy
