Darkness

Her depression often reminded her of how it felt to be in the dark.

It came in waves.

Waves of sadness. Waves of misery. Waves of despair.

It came when it was least wanted... It came so unexpectedly.

It left her feeling upset. Feeling alone. And often wanting death.

All she wanted more than anything was for someone to reach out to her.

Someone to just save her.

One day her wish came true.

She met a girl - not much differet from her. The girl said she knew...

She knew how it felt to be sad, how it felt to be in the dark, how it felt to be all alone in this big wide world.

The girl told her that she believed NO ONE should feel like that.

The girl promised to help her stand up, to help her to be brave, to help her overcome the darkness.

And that is when she realized.

All you need to overcome the the darkness is someone to help pull you back into the light.
