darkness

Darkness

She stands there in the dark cell of life reaching out to heaven knows what

Lights so dark she can barely see her hand in front of her face

She reaches out to something, anything

A hand, a branch

Anything to get her out of the dark cell she can’t escape from

She searches for anyone who cares

So she sits there waiting and waiting in the misery she can’t escape from

She sits there screaming while the agony reaches its hands out

So that it can pull her closer to the depths

She feels it’s hands grasp her hand so tightly refusing to let go

She screams, crying, trying to find that one soul that will save her

And as the darkness pulls her into his dungeon of despair

The girl gets closer and closer and closer to her demise

Then a light turns on and she sees a young boy

A young boy who did what no other man could

Save her
