Darkness

I look right, darkness is all i see

but i turn left in hope of seeing something better

wait a minute... still darkness!

Pretence all around me,

confusion and pain devour me.

What else is there for me to see...darkness!

Stuck with crowds of polluted mouths

their words trying to cover my eyes like a cloud

looking like nothing else but ...darkness.

Can't see where I'm heading

don't know where or when this road is ending

coz im simply walking on a lonely road

lit by a powerful yet treacherous source of evil.

Darkness.

I am told that even through a dark journey,

your heart will always light your way!

I guess I'm blind then

because i think i have a heart but all i see is darkess

Am i blind? Am I wild?

Coz it seems the rest are fine.

Am i weak? Am i unfit?

Coz the rest overcome well.

Now I lay here writting with a pen i borrowed

from the light keeper,

Writting on a leaf i picked from the tearful garden,

telling you who will read it that

you came with the light,

the more you trust anything but the light,

the dimmer it gets.

You came with a key

that opens only one door,

the door to your prosperity.

But the more doors you stupidly try to open,

your key will fall in the wrong keyhole

and never come out.

Lastly,

you came to cmplete one journey

and you have limited time,

the longer you walk with your dim light and a lost key,

the deeper you fall in the merciless hole.

You will hit your lamp on the rock of friends

and then your light will go off

and all you will see from then on is...

Darkness.
