Into the Darkness

into the darkness we do settle for with it brings a velvet pettle a vail of softness in the night that blinds us of the truthful light even in vain we boldly try to endure on with a faint sad cry for when the end is here to come the answer here is he who’s won a wondrous light we do see it is there for it should be and blindly we will oft there find that we know not of our own decline death and slowly perishing a savage soul, drowning knowing now where darkness leads where it hurts, where it feeds the softness the veil the sullen dream ends but of this comes one good thing we've found the light and where it leads
