Darkness

Darkness

A never ending peace, an ever lasting impression.

People tend to think of creatures that are lurking, when in reality, you walk among those monsters everday.

The ghouls of what was, the demons of what's to come, and the mummies that will pop out of closets to remind you of mistakes.

Hello.

I'll be your friend if you'll let me.

Let me be the friend that's bound by lies.

So we can dance with the devil ntil the sunrises.

Goodbye.

The saga never ends the way we plan

A vintage memory becomes nothing more than a photograph.

They say bad memories make us who wer are,

but what if I don't wanna be who I am?

What if I want to be someone who's nice, who has no temper, someone who is accepted.

What if I want to avoid the life wher stereotypes control the minds around me?

What if?

What if I am the darkness, and all these thoughts are a sign

A sign that I'm all alone.

The only thng I'm left with is my imagination, and at times, that becomes a pretty lonely place too.

Sunlight.

A place with happiness, a place of comfort

an overexaggerated metaphor used by the wrong in attempt to make things right.

Where people stand in flower fields with smiles on their faces.

While I stand here in a pit of darkness with a frown on mine.

How is it that we're all so different when we go through the same things?

We shed tears

We share laughs

We have good times and bad times

Maybe some of us are just stuck in the bad times wihtout a flashlight to help get us out

Maybe we're all stuck in a cave, but only those who see the light have made it out?

What if the darkness is meant to be our home, so all we can do is dance with the devil?

What if the darkness is all we'r meant to be?
