Darkness
I've never known why
but I've never liked the dark
Maybe because the dark is dangerous
I can stand the night
because I know there are stars
But when the sun sinks down
and the lights in my rooom are off
I tremble
The darkness has never been my friend
Always trying to trap me
To finish me off
I can't deal with thedark
It's the only time I can think
and when I think... that is a whole different darkness
One no one knows about
No one can know about
The thoughts that kill and slowly poisen
Yes, I believe I prefer the day, the sun
But sometimes I let the darkness take over
I see the sun, the light
But yet I choose the darkness
Because in some ways it is my only friend
