Darkness

People are often afraid of what is in the darkest of places,

but what if it's because that's where we hide our true faces?

It's not the us we want the world to know,

so we refuse to show

who we truely are.

We hide the brokenness and scars

in hope that no one will find our hiding place,

so we won't have to meet them face to face.
