Darkness

They say darkness is something of fright. But I have loved the darkened night, The fear of the unknown, I say, isn't right, so I spread my wings and begin to take flight. the cries behind me disappear, aslo does the doubting fear. saying goodbye to friends so dear, always to my heart will be near. i begin to see the lightened end, as i say farewell to my last friend. wishes and prayers they will send. to help me with evil, fend.
