In the black of night the fear is found,

An om'nous glowing Baskervillian Hound.

To fight it is to stay awake and pray,

And wait for comfort from the dawn of day.

With light you find your fear was born of naught

But childish dreaming and unwary thought.

And yet, despite the lesson that you learned,

When dark advances, terror is returned!
