Darkness
Dear Darkness,
My old childhood bully
you would taunt me and decieve me
you played with my eyes and made me see things
shadows would turn into nightmares
You knew about my wild imagination
and used it to your advantage.
I was 5 back then,
now I'm 17
and proud to say,
you can no longer scare me
