Darkness

Why are you so scared of the dark?
Of the night?
Why do you shiver when you are entrapped by the silence of the moon?
When the moon so beautiful, the night so calming, swamps everything which hurts you
When the wind so soothing hits your face and hushes your anxiety
When the sun isn't there to suppress you anymore
Tell me, don't you love it when you look at those clouds high above and feel heavy no more
Then, why are you scared of a fascination like this?
Do you fear the demons?
Demons, inside you
Demons, that devour on your loneliness
Demons, that are waiting to destroy you
Demons, that won't leave you ever
Demons, that are waiting to engulf you in the darkness
Is that why you are scared of the dark?
