Darkness

In the dark I find solace, I do not pluck invisible strands of hair from my chin to my fingers tips trying to figure out things, the dark is an extension of me, where my melanin drips. No it's not a leak that needs to be fixed. I envy the blind, they smile without a glimpse even at stories narrated by the devil's lips, my heart skips a beat every time I think of what I would not miss to see if I were to lose my sight, I would not need a crew to fight this plight called life, not that I do not I appreciate the breath that's mine, that's why I huff and puff. A cup of tears that used to be induced by fears, now I jump hurdles like deers jump barricades, even with that hinders their night vision, stay focus on the mission, even if there's no completion all that's important that one experience that sensation of being in motion without the Aid of that the sun gives the earth, this my new birth, moving at the opposite horizontal velocity than most, "I am that I am" that's who I'm with, now I can finally breath.
