Darkness

The Darkness I hold within

Is full of sorrow and sin

Most evil comes at full moon

But that moon is far from soon

The moon on this night is a new one

The fear you receive is more than a ton

The night is scarier because it is darker

The demons are out and their eyes are sharper

The one that seeks you he is the picker

He picks his victims, but gets them even quicker

You wake up and find it was only a nightmare

All it was, was a late night scare

You think to yourself, what a surreal dream

Or maybe that’s what it may seem

The demon is laying there under your bed

“Good Night, Mother” was the last thing you said.
